Anil has over 10+ years of strategic and tactical management and investment experience with start-ups and early stage companies. As the Director of Strategy & Lean Tactics at Frost Data Capital, Anil works on product strategy and Go-to-Market plans for our portfolio companies and their product offerings from conception through to pilot and scale. He helps portfolio CEOs with their problem and solution validation efforts and expedites the companies’ overall product/market fit.
Prior to Frost Anil was involved in launching three B2C start-ups in less than three years (Groupon,Turkey-SehirFirsati.com, Modagram.com and HemenOda.com). He pioneered the daily deal business in Turkey, by launching Groupon's Turkish operations and making it a market leader company with more than 130 employees and millions of euros in monthly sales in less than 18 months. Prior to that, Anil served as a corporate finance associate at Dubai-based Orion Holding's, Istanbul office, (a.k.a Shuaa Capital) doing sell- and buy-side advisory work in cross-border M&A transactions.
Anil has an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business, UC Irvine, and a BA in Economics from Koc University, Istanbul.
